The Teachers College commencement office works closely with OASID, or the Office of Access and Services for Individuals with Disabilities to ensure that students, faculty and guests with disabilities are provided with equal access to the ceremonies. Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to contact OASID as early as possible to request reasonable accommodations.
TEACHERS COLLEGE MASTERS AND DOCTORAL CEREMONIES
Guests requiring special accommodations at the TC ceremonies should contact OASID as early as possible. Special tickets are required for accessible seating, and will be provided in place of general seating tickets for those students who request them.
The only accessible entrance at Riverside Church is through the entrance at 91 Claremont Avenue. Upon arrival, guests should present their Special Access tickets. An OASID volunteer will escort those guests to the appropriate seating area. Doors will open for special access guests forty-five minutes prior to the ceremony.
