Create an AlfrescoSync folder on your desktop

Step 1: To create an AlfrescoSync folder on your desktop, you will first need to download one of the following files:
Step 2: Once installed you will see this icon on your desktop or you can get the shortcut from your Applications folder. Click on the icon and the following Alfresco Sync window will appear:
Step 3: Enter your UNI in the User field. In the Password field, enter your UNI ID password. In the Server field, enter https://alf.tc.columbia.edu:9090/alfresco. Once you are done, click on Login.
Step 4: Now create a folder on your desktop and name it. To change the folder location from the C drive to your desktop, select Browse > Desktop > (name of the folder).
Step 5: In order to view your sites in Alfresco Sync you must sign into File Share and make your sites Favorites by clicking on the star. After this is completed select Refresh in the Alfresco Sync Folder.
Step 6: To sync a site, click on the box next to the site and select Sync. The site with all documents will be synced to your Desktop folder.
