234 Horace Mann - The Goodman family computer classroom
The Goodman Family Computer Classroom in 234 Horace Mann, which accommodates 30 computer users, was renovated through a generous gift from the Goodman Family.This classroom has been designed to promote an effective and flexiblel use of technology to accommodate a variety of teaching strategies. The tables in the room pivots around central posts and can be arranged in several ways to obtain maximum interactivity.
The Classroom has a projection and sound system integrated into the ceiling, an interactive SmartBoard for capturing class notes, video and sound equipment. Students are given laptops (Apple MacBooks) with wireless Ethernet connectivity, which can be folded away during lectures,
Each laptop is loaded with the following software:
