Academic Technology (AT) supports and champions Teachers College’s use of technology for teaching, learning, and research. AT seeks to build partnerships with members of the TC community to proactively address the College’s technological needs. This is accomplished through a series of services that include College-wide professional development, consultation with individual faculty members, and piloting emerging technologies. See More.
The IT Service Desk offers a single line of support for all faculty and staff via phone, onsite and remote support. Our goal is to assist with the computer, software, printing, telephone, and Internet/wireless needs of the Teachers College community. Our Media and Video Services supports all Audio/Video in classrooms and lecture halls. This includes AV services and support for classes and events, video conferencing and lecture capture. See More.
Enterprise Application Team
The Enterprise Application Team is responsible for application planning, development, testing, support and operations and project management of Teachers College’s application architecture and strategy. See More.
Infrastructure Services manages campus network to provide a highly reliable, scalable, secure and manageable network infrastructure to support the storage, computing, server, cloud and Wi-fi needs of the college. See More.
Our staff monitors and responds to threats against Teachers College’s systems, along with using threat assessment and a risk-based approach to mitigate the threat or risk to the college. The mission of Information Security is to support the goals of Teachers College by safeguarding information and assets from unauthorized disclosure, use, modification, or loss. See More.
