The Art of Privacy: How to Walk The Information-Sharing Tightrope

Social media sites - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn - allow you to meet, interact and share with people around the world. However, sharing too much information--or the wrong kind of information--on social media can unintentionally harm you or your employer. It may lead to cyber-attacks against you that could impact your career, financial, or personal future. We’ll give you an overview on how to protect your social media accounts and online activities.

The workshop will be held at the Service Desk (Grace Dodge 70 next to the Cafe) on Thursday, March 8. A morning session will be held at 10am, and a second session will be offered in the afternoon at 2pm.

Faculty, staff and students are all welcome! All those who attend the workshop will be entered into our drawing for one of two new Apple iPads! The drawing will take place on March 27 during the CIS Cyber Showcase, which will be held at Everett Lounge from 2-4pm.
