Limited Fellowships for New England Educators to Receive Integration PD
We invite New England educators to apply for a Nellie Mae Education Foundation Fellowship to attend the Reimagining Education Summer Institute at Teachers College, Columbia University to learn the cutting-edge thinking on how to teach students from different racial, ethnic backgrounds within one school and classroom. Join us in New York City free of charge this July 16-19 with 350 educators, policy makers, graduate students and a stellar cast of Teachers College faculty to gain the knowledge and tools to promote inclusive schools and classrooms in which all students learn from each other.
Applications for Nellie Mae Education Foundation Reimagining Education Fellowships:
These generous fellowships, worth $795 each and conferring valuable PD credits (Continuing Education Units) are awarded on a first-come-first serve basis. They cover the registration fees for the four-day Reimagining Education Institute for full-time educators working in schools or districts in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Expenses for travel, food and accommodations are not covered; however, support in finding low-cost housing near Teachers College is available.
