In this hands-on workshop, teachers and curriculum leaders will
- Be given opportunities to understand the literature and practice around 21st Century Global Capacities and why they are essential for teaching and learning in the 21st century;
- Hear global case studies of how these capacities have been integrated into pedagogical approaches across grades and disciplines;
- Work in collaboration with global education experts to apply this learning throughout the curriculum development process—either by refining existing units, lessons and assessments and/or creating new versions using a 21st Century Global Capacities Framework; and
- Develop new networks of colleagues and professional learning communities dedicated to cultivating global capacities in themselves, their colleagues, and their students.
