Dear Graduating Students: 
 
The SMBI Program is proud to introduce its Advisement Fellowship Program for the next 2017-2018 year. Graduating students are welcome to apply, though preferences for will be made for those with demonstrated experience.  Duties include:
  • 6-8 hours per week (flexible depending on the week)
  • advise your caseload of MA students on academic issues ranging from curriculum planning to handbook requirements (solid knowledge of SMBI handbook will be expected during your tenure)
  • answer questions from incoming/prospective students about the program by phone/in person 
  • work with Sarah Sherman and Dr. Aurelie Athan to accommodate student requests and program development reflecting arising needs.
  • hold 4 hours of office hours per week (minimum on 2 separate days/week)
