Position: The Cognitive Studies in Education program at Teachers College,
Columbia University seeks a new faculty member at the Assistant/Associate
Professor level (tenure track) who does research applying the Cognitive
and Learning Sciences to education. Priority will be given to those doing
research involving technology-based learning environments, multimedia
learning, and /or text understanding.

Responsibilities: Teach Educational Psychology, Cognition and Learning,
and more specialized courses including a research seminar. Advise doctoral
and masters students,

Qualifications: Doctorate in Cognitive Psychology, Cognitive Science,
Learning Science, Educational Psychology. or related field. Demonstrate a
potential for excellence in research and teaching.
