Professor Mshelia is currently a Professor of Mathematics at Manhattan Community College and was formerly a Lecturer of Psychology at Ahmadu Bello University (Zaria, Nigeria). 
Dr. Mshelia is the author of five books including ARABA LET'S SEPARATE: The Story of the Nigerian Civil War; SUKSUKU: Stories and Folktales of the Burrah People of Northeastern Nigeria; The Village Boy; Cognition, Culture and Field Dependence-Independence; and Depth Pictorial Perception, Culture and Psychological Differentiation.  All of his books will be available for purchase at the event.
