305 Russell Hall

Do you spend hours sitting in front of a computer? Do you get stiff? Does your back hurt at times?
Then take time to Be Neurodynamic and come and figure out what you're doing during the day which contributes to those little aches and pains we all feel at times, and how to prevent them through body awareness, rather than recourse to drugs and treatment.

This week: Posture: Our Built-In Anti-Gravity System
Join us as we explore how we stay upright as we move, and how understanding this can help us move with less tension and strain in daily activity. Come and join us, and bring your lunch with you.

Be Neurodynamic is an invitation to the TC Community from Dr. Theodore Dimon, head of The Dimon Institute and adjunct assistant professor at Teachers College, to share his work in health and education.

This series is sponsored by The Spirituality and Mind/Body Institute and Gottesman Libraries, and co-sponsored by Teachers College Vice President’s President’s Diversity and Community Initiatives Grant Fund.

Type: Community

Location: 305 Russell

Date & Time: 4/8/2014, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
