Event Details: NEURODYNAMIC LUNCH HOUR

Description: Do you spend hours sitting in front of a computer? Do you get stiff? Does your back hurt at times? Then take time to Be Neurodynamic and come and figure out what you're doing during the day which contributes to those little aches and pains we all feel at times, and how to prevent them through body awareness, rather than recourse to drugs and treatment.

This week: Healthy Muscles/Healthy Back - The Spine and How It Works.
Join us as we explore how our back functions and how we can use it with less tension and strain in our daily activities. Come and join us, and bring your lunch with you.

Be Neurodynamic is an invitation to the TC Community from Dr. Theodore Dimon, head of The Dimon Institute and adjunct assistant professor at Teachers College, to share his work in health and education.

This series is sponsored by The Spirituality and Mind/Body Institute and Gottesman Libraries, and co-sponsored by Teachers College Vice President’s President’s Diversity and Community Initiatives Grant Fund
