Weekly Mindfulness Meditation Series

Catch your breath and get some head space! Join us for the WEEKLY MINDFULNESS MEDITATION SERIES

Mindful Monday, Mindful Everyday 
Mondays, 6:00 - 7:30 pm 
Location: 261 Macy (on March 31st) 
Facilitators: Home Nguyen, Daniel Caffarel, Rachel Diamond, Nikki Reiner, and Guests 
*The final half an hour is for tea, snacks and chatting* 

Use Monday evening to prepare for your week, stabilizing the mind and calming the body. We will practice letting go of worries and stress by catching our breath and feeling our body. Then, we will have time socialize with like-minded people over tea and cookies. 

2. Midday Meditation (Wednesday) 
Wednesdays, 1:30 - 2:30 pm 
Location: 279 Grace Dodge Hall (on April 2nd) 
Facilitators: Daniel Caffarel and Guests 

Come nourish your body and mind with a midday meditation. We will explore and practice mindfulness techniques that will give you an energy boost for the rest of your day -- as well as feed your curiosity and grow your practice. Beginners to advanced practitioners are welcome. 

3. Mindful Munching (Friday) 
Fridays, 12:30 - 1:30 pm 
Location: 273B Grace Dodge Hall (on April 4th) 
Facilitator: Joe Timmins and Hua-Chu Yen 

Bring your lunch and come join other mindful munchers Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 for a mindful eating lunch hour. This will be a time and a place for you to take a few breaths from your day and be present with your lunch hour. We'll spend some time sitting quietly, eating slowly, and being mindful of our food and the experience of eating. We'll also have time to discuss what it means to be mindful with food, cooking, and eating, and our experiences with mindful eating. 

Open to all Teachers College and Columbia University and surrounding communities. Looking forward to seeing you there!
