Civic Involvement: VOTE 2012

Registering to vote is an ongoing responsibility of civic life for all federal elections!  It is not simply a one-time event. It is important to build support structures, so that this will be easier to achieve. All segments of the community can work together to provide reminders and offer opportunities to register quickly and easily. When voter registration becomes second nature, it can become a permanent fixture in campus life, and then more time and attention can be devoted to educating members of the community about the issues of national, state, and local importance.  Please be aware that the voter registration and voting laws have changed in many states.  Please investigate the laws in your home state.

Let’s develop plans and encourage people to get out to vote!
