The DLL Lab is committed to training graduate students in Communication Sciences and Disorders as well as practicing speech-language pathologists and teachers. We are particularly dedicated to training practitioners about cultural and environmental factors that influence children’s development, best practices in assessing the language and literacy abilities of children from diverse backgrounds, and use of high-quality language and literacy practices to promote children’s development, either through home- or classroom based interventions.
