- Complete the scholarship application section of your application for admission. If you have neglected to do so, please contact Nicole Siniscalchi at
- Complete the 2012-2013 FAFSA and the 2013-2014 FAFSA. The 2012-2013 FAFSA (for Summer 1) is available from January 1st, 2012 - June 30th, 2013, while the 2013-2014 FAFSA (for Fall, Spring, Summer 2) is available from January 1st, 2013 - June 30th, 2014. You must include the Teachers College Federal School Code (

The tuition cost for SPA students beginning in the Summer 2013 will be a total of $49,415. The total cost will be evenly distributed across four semesters: Summer 2013, Fall 2014, Spring 2014, and Summer 2014. The payment schedule is as follows:
$12,353.75 due in mid-May 2013 (exact date TBD)
$12,353.75 due in early September 2013 (exact date TBD)

$12,353.75 due in mid-May 2014 (exact date TBD)

For scholarship purposes, the amount "per point" for SPA students is an average of the two aid years the program spans across. For the Summer 2013 cohort this amount is $1,315, the average of 12-13 ($1,286) and 13-14 ($1344). Scholarship awards are distributed evenly across all four semesters of the program.

If you are awarded a scholarship or federal student aid, you will receive an official award letter notification from the Office of Financial Aid. Please keep in mind that you will receive two separate award letters, as the program goes over two academic years.
If you are eligible for federal financial aid and you have satisfied your requirements, the funds you have accepted will be applied to your account as payment(s). That being said, in the Summer 1 term, you may receive a refund, which you will need to save to assist you with the payments for the subsequent semesters.
