Abby O'Neill Fellowship

The Abby M. O'Neill Fellowship is for students interested in one of Teachers College's (TC) many dual-certification master's teaching programs. The Abby M. O'Neill Fellowship is designed to award at least $35,000 in tuition assistance to selected recipients who best embody the new wave of outstanding individuals committed to teaching in New York City. These fellowships are made possible by the gracious gift from trustee Abby O'Neill. In addition to providing funding to committed teacher certification students, fellowship recipients will be provided with mentoring experiences to increase their future opportunities and options.

Those interested in applying for the Abby M. O'Neill Fellowship must submit a fellowship personal statement (in addition to the statement of purpose submitted with your TC Application for Admission). Applicants must also submit the Abby M O'Neill Fellowship Interest Form. Please read through the Interest Form carefully and make sure that you meet the stated requirements. These two items must be submitted to enrollmentservices@tc.columbia.edu by February 15th, 2014.

Please note: students must successfully complete and submit their application for admission to Teachers College before they may apply for the Abby O'Neill Fellowship.
