How to Apply

Special Application Requirements/Information

The M.A. program in the Teaching of American Sign Language has ongoing admissions, and applications are received and reviewed throughout the year. Preference in scholarship awards will be for those applicants who meet the College early deadline.

In addition to general College admission requirements, the Program has two additional requirements: demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language and an interview with the program coordinators. Proficiency in ASL at the Advanced Level is required for graduation; students need to bring documentation such as SCPI and ASLPI. Students who are not proficient in ASL at this level as measured by nationally recognized assessments may need to take additional conversational ASL courses. An interview may be scheduled by contacting the program coordinator.
