Dietetic Internship Program (DI)
The Dietetic Internship Program (DI) provides students with a minimum of 1200 hours of supervised practice. A student cannot begin the DI until (1) the series of courses, referred to as the DPD, have been successfully completed and (2) at least a bachelor's degree has been completed. Graduates of the DI are eligible to take the registration examination that is administered by The American Dietetic Association's Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). The Teachers College Dietetic Internship Program is offered on a full-time basis and requires eleven months to complete. The internship program accepts 24 interns yearly. Applications are due in February for a September start date.
