Students in the Program
At the beginning of the 2012-2013 academic year, there were 20 Ph.D. students in the School Psychology Program. 90% percent are female (n = 18), 70% are white (n = 14), 30% are minority (n = 6) and 10% of students (n = 2) are from a foreign country. All of the students are full time. In the last 7 years (2006-2012), the average number of applicants was 68 with a mean of 4.7 admitted, and 4.3 attending. Our average GRE was 591 for the Verbal, 713 for the quantitative, and 5.12 for writing.
In 2012 all of our admitted students had their GRE verbal and quantitative scores reported in the new metric and so we report them here; we expect most future applicants to have the new scores. The average for all 7 years reflects the scores for each year, including 2012, as we transformed the new scores to the old metric to make all of the scores comparable.
