Family Housing

 

Teachers College maintains three Family Housing options: Bancroft, Grant, and Sarasota Halls, Bancroft Hall is currently closed for renovations. Housing rates vary according to the size and location of the apartment and include heat and hot water, local phone, caller ID and voicemail, internet access and a premium cable television package. Residents must pay monthly electricity charges as well as monthly long distance phone bills. All units are fully furnished and must remain this way.

 

 BANCROFT HALL

 Bancroft Hall- Closed for RENOVATION- Bancroft Hall was closed on July 4, 2013 and the anticipated renovation duration will be 18- 25 months.

 

 

GRANT AND SARASOTA HALL

 

Located at 514 and 512 West 122nd Street, respectively, are six-story buildings with four apartments on each floor. The street side apartments have an entry foyer, living room, bedroom, eat-in kitchen, and bathroom. Court-yard-side apartments have a long hallway with the bedroom, eat-in kitchen, bathroom, and living room opening into the hallway.
