Security and Room Deposit
A $750 security deposit is required of residents. The Security Deposit is held for the faithful performance and observance by resident of the terms, provisions and conditions of this Contract, pursuant to the terms hereof. In the event of default in the payment of use and occupancy, The Office of Residential Services may, at its option (and without excluding any and all other remedies available under this Contract and pursuant to law) apply said security against the use and occupancy to become due hereunder.
Resident understands that the security deposit will be refunded to the Resident's Student Account only if a Vacate Notification Form is filed with The Office of Residential Services by the specified due date and vacates on associated vacate date outlined in the contract. A bank holds security deposits and refunds take 4-6 weeks to process.
