Immersive Education Initiative New York Chapter
The New York Chapter of Immersive Education Initiative (iED NY), founded by Dr. Khan at Teachers College, Columbia University, was launched at the Immersive Education Initiative Boston Summit 2013 at Boston College, Massachusetts (June 3-6, 2013). The iED NY Chapter currently covers New York City. Teachers College will host the Immersive Education Initiative's First Research Summit in 2014. Immersive Education Initiative is an international consortium that’s defining and developing open standards, best practices, platforms and support communities for virtual reality and game-based learning and training systems.
