Student Conference Travel Grants
The Department of Human Development has established a Student Conference Travel Grant program to reimburse doctoral students in the Department for travel to present papers at conferences. The grants are vary. You can apply for these grants by emailing the Department Chair (black@tc.edu) the following:
2. What conference on what dates you will present the paper at
3. An acceptance of the paper by the conference
4. A supporting recommendation from a Dept. of Human Development faculty member
Please apply for this funding before the conference, and, if approved, submit receipts for reimbursement after the conference. This year, these grants are for conferences in the Spring and Summer. We expect to continue this grant program next year for Fall, Spring and Summer, if budget constraints let us do so (the state of the economy introduces uncertainty here). We intend to fund all credible applications, but are subject to budget constraints, so that if the number of applications exceed available funds we will have to establish priorities.
