Unless explicitly noted, these policies are for Teachers College employees classified as Professional Staff and full-time Instructional Staff. When the phrase “applies to all employees” appears in these policies, the policy includes all other employees at the College.
Nothing contained in these policies is intended to create, nor shall it be construed to constitute, an employment contract or any contractual obligation between the College and any or all of its employees. All of these policies comply with applicable law. If an employee believes that a policy conflicts with applicable law, s/he is encouraged to inform the Director of Human Resources or the person whose title is designated in Section 3.0 RESPONSIBILITY of the respective policy. The College reserves the right to modify these policies at any time. Any policy or provision that would not lawfully be applied to a particular situation will not be applied. These policies will be posted online and the College will inform the community of all changes to these policies via email and online posting.
