Welcome to Teachers College! We'd like to ensure that you are entered into our payroll system as quickly as possible. In order to accomplish this, we ask that you complete all pages of the Post Hire Packet. It is also very important for the Position Information Section on the first page to be completed and signed by your Supervisor.
- In order to comply with Federal Regulations please make sure that you bring your completed Post Hire Packet along with the acceptable, unexpired, original identifying documents (listed on the I-9 Form) within THREE work days of your start date to the office of Human Resources (120 Whittier Hall).
- Employees who are NON-RESIDENT ALIENS please complete all of the paperwork in the downloadable file provided below (Post Hire Packet 2015 Non- Resident Aliens). Please note the main form (Post Hire form) need a Supervisor's signature as well as signed approval from the International Services Office (L5 Whittier). Additionally, NON-RESIDENT ALIENS should follow the FNIS instructional form (pdf. located in post hire packet link below), the instructions will guide you in how to establish tax exempt status according to your country's tax treaty .
- Every Teachers College employee must have a Social Security Number. If you have not yet applied for one, please complete and submit the attached application to a Social Security office. Please bring the receipt of application to the Office of Human Resources (120 Whittier Hall).
- Students hired for WORK STUDY positions should visit the Office of Financial Aid (310 Thorndike Hall) for additional Post Hire Forms that are not available online. Also, Work Study students must submit their completed Post Hire Packet to the Office of Financial Aid.
