Graduate studies in conflict resolution are unique opportunities for those who want to build their won knowledge base and skills in resolving conflict. This course is the first of six in a series leading to a Certificate of Attendance in Conflict Resolution, and provides experience in developing basic collaborative negotiation and mediation skills for interpersonal conflict in a variety of contexts.

Classroom climate and school tone affect student behavior and learning in significant ways. This course investigates the field of conflict resolution education in the context of supporting student academic achievement, increasing social and emotional learning, and creating positive and caring school communities.
