Conflict ethos dynamics study
Overview: Bar-Tal's research on the role of conflict ethos in perpetuating conflict in the Middle East provides a good platform for dynamical research on stable and changing belief patterns regarding conflict, and the effects they may have on critical policy variables. However, to date this research has only worked with cross-sectional survey data. We are proposing to collect time-series data to begin to look at changes in the variance, strength and complexity of conflict ethos regarding conflict and peace in the Middle East.
