We continue to improve our capacity to disseminate information regarding ICCCR theory, research, and methods, through training, conferences, course offerings, and other activities. This is further achieved by: continually developing and updating the ICCCR Web site and other materials; involvement in the organization of and attendance at national and international conferences; and through the continued publication of scholarly and practical books, chapters
and articles. We are also working to institutionalize conflict resolution systems within Teachers College and Columbia University, and to establish collaborative relationships with college and university faculty, staff, students and alumni. In addition, we are helping to shape the national conflict resolution scholar-practitioner agenda, emphasizing inter-agency collaboration, research, innovation and multi-disciplinary approaches. And finally, we continue to provide low-cost services and support to the leadership and staff of schools, not-for-profit organizations and NGOs working for school reform, peace and social justice.
The ICCCR has become increasingly engaged in the practical problems of fostering constructive conflict resolution in systems mired in highly escalated, seemingly intractable conflicts over power, group identity and value differences.

ICCCR is an innovative center committed to developing knowledge and practice to promote constructive conflict resolution, effective cooperation, and social justice. We partner with individuals, groups, organizations, and communities to learn to resolve conflicts constructively so they may develop just and peaceful relationships. We work with sensitivity to cultural differences and emphasize the links between theory, research, and practice.
