ITS Workshops (Fall 2017)
This workshop series provides a venue for faculty and students from the Department of International and Transcultural Studies (ITS), as well as from other departments and institutions, to present scholarly research, to discuss work in progress and to further develop our scholarly community. The scope of the Workshop is, by design, deliberately broad and inclusive, ranging from work on large-scale educational policy to the study of micro interactions in the classroom. Meetings are organized around one presentation by faculty and/or graduate students (at all stages of study).
Students are encouraged to actively participate in the Workshop and as a rule, ask the first question to the speaker. An additional feature of the Workshop is to provide opportunities for professional development, including learning how to use new software programs, managing a dataset, or discussing a relevant topic for the field of international and comparative education.
