Sarah French Brennan, a current doctoral student whose work has focused on the contexts, practices, and technologies involved in the production of sexual identities and minority subjectivities, was interviewed for the journal "Perspectives on Europe." Here she discussed her recent research article "Specter of the Fraud: Muslim Sexual Minorities and Asylum in the Netherlands," exploring the many tribulations minority asylum seekers face, and the narrow patterns and behaviors they must conform to in order to be granted safety.
