DISSERTATION TITLE: The Goffal Speaks: Colored Ideology and the Perpetuation of a Category in Post-Colonial Zimbabwe. My research focuses on the Colored or mixed race population in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and methods of inclusion and exclusion in an attempt by Coloreds to reify what has been historically defined socially, politically, and legally as Colored.
