Event Details: A Conversation on Education Across the Americas

Description: Join us in the university-wide celebration of 50 years of Latin American Studies at Columbia University. A roundtable of exceptional Teachers College alumni will share insights on their active engagement with research and policy in various aspects of education throughout the Americas.

Panelists include: Ryan Burgess (EdD '08), Education Specialist, Inter-American Development Bank, Veronica Cabezas (PhD '10), Assistant Professor, Universidad Catolica de Chile, Paulo Da Silva (MA '04), Visiting Professor, NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development, New York University, Adrian Franco (MPh '11), Director of Economic Education, Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Milagros Nores (PhD '06), Assistant Research Professor, National Institute for Early Education Research, Rutgers, State University of New Jersey, and Adriana Vilela (MA '99), Senior Education Specialist, Office of Education and Culture, Organization of American States.
