Integrative Project Title: Evaluation of the International Rescue Committee Ingushetia Program: Innovative and Unique Education Programming
Description of your current position: I am an Assistant Country Director (ACD) for the Concern Worldwide South Sudan Program. I moved to Concern six months ago following five years with the International Rescue Committee. As the ACD, I develop, design, and supervise the education, nutrition and mainstreaming programs/initiatives (e.g. HIV/AIDS, equality, Rights Based Approach, etc). Education will be crucial to rebuilding a post-conflict south Sudan where over 75% of school-aged children are not in school and 88% of the population is illiterate.
Something special about your TC experience: The highlight of my time at TC was taking the Qualitative Research & Evaluation in International Education course. The course provided an innovative learning environment, hands on evaluation experience, expert instructors, and engaged fellow students. The quality of the course was unparalleled.
