Teachers College Selected Topics Self-Study
Welcome to the Teachers College Selected Topics Self-Study website created to inform all members of the TC community about our decennial (2016) accreditation review by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE).
MSCHE accreditation is vitally important for the College as it provides external validation that Teachers College upholds the MSCHE standards described in the Characteristics of Excellence in Higher Education as they relate to all aspects of the educational enterprise: its mission, goals, educational programs, students, faculty, services, and resources.
To prepare for its reaccreditation in spring of 2016, the College has engaged in self-study. We hope that this site will provide an opportunity for all members of the community, on and off campus, to stay informed about this important process and to share their comments and suggestions.
Together we'll further institutional self-understanding, identify opportunities for growth, and reaffirm our accreditation.
