Ellis, who celebrated his 89th birthday at TC on September 26th, is the
founder of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, the "grandfather" of
Cognitive Behavior Therapy, a pioneering sexologist and sex therapist,
and an eminent marriage and family therapist. He spoke on the history
and future directions of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy and provided
a demonstration of his theories in practice.
