Melanio Paredes, the Dominican Republic's Secretary of Education, traveled to Teachers College on December 2 to sign a letter of intent with President Susan Fuhrman. The letter of intent paved the way for TC and Dominican education officials to develop a partnership that will assist the Caribbean country in improving its educational system.
