Two NYC Schools Run By Cahn Fellows Principals Are Profiled in the News

On September 23, NY1 reported that P.S. 60 in Woodhaven, Queens, whose principal is Cahn Fellow Frank Desario, got an "A" grade on city progress reports, and the best results citywide, on how well its students with disabilities did, and how much struggling black and Latino boys improved.
On September 30, MSNBC's Morning Joe show profiled the Bronx Charter School for Excellence and interviewed its principal and Cahn Fellow Charlene Reid, whose "no excuses" philosophy helped the school win the ranking of Highest Performing Charter School in New York State.
