North Shore Board of Education Adjusts Honors Program

Based on recommendations made by Professor James Borland in his report of the Honors by Achievement program at the North Shore Long Island High School, honors classes in English and social studies will be open to all 9th graders this fall. The decision was made after administrators from the high school and middle school met with a representative group comprised of parents, students and teachers in a brainstroming session about Borland's report.
