An article in the Detroit Free Press discussed an increased demand for psychologists in schools since the tragic Columbine High School shooting. TC Professor Marla Brassard was quoted in the article and talked about the need for psychologists to counsel students. Psychologists are better trained than educators in understanding why a child is behaving in a certain way and can offer solutions, she said.
The article, "Schools Spread Thin on Vital Psychologists," was published on May 14. For more information, go to www.freep.com.previous page
