Jessica Siegel, the teacher and journalist who was the focus of the 1990 book Small Victories by current New York Times columnist Samuel G. Freedman, has joined the faculty of the Heritage School, a public high school designed by TC in collaboration with New York City public schools. She has taught journalism at the college and high school levels, and directed a journalism program for ArtsConnection, which ran in six inner-city high schools in New York City.
