Rita and Herb Gold (at right) are joined by President Arthur Levine, On-site Coordinator Isabel M. Belinkie and a preschooler at the Rita Gold Early Childhood Center’s spring fund raising event on May 6. The photo exhibit/sale was entitled “Celebrating our Children.” The Rita Gold Center is a resource for students across the College who are engaged in observation, teaching, and research with young children and families.

On Tuesday, May 5, Teachers College doctoral student Kelvin Sealey, using a blend of popular Hollywood films, introduced a visiting group of 7th grade students from Paul Lawrence Dunbar Middle School in the Bronx to the idea of the university, with its complex mix of knowledge and perspectives. Sealey is a founder of the Film & Education Research Academy (FERA) at Teachers College, a research unit of the Center for Educational Outreach & Innovation.
