    A mix of colleagues and students filled Horace Mann Auditorium September 15 to commemorate the life of Professor Jeannette Fleischner. Some in the audience nodded in agreement, others wept silently as each speaker shared anecdotes of her generous nature and boundless energy.

  • Fall Orientation

    New students filled the Horace Mann auditorium early on September 2 for the Orientation welcome session. President Arthur Levine was the first to greet the students, giving them an overview of the history of the College, the current student population, and the role that TC is playing now locally, nationally, and internationally in the field of education.

  • Getting to Know Joan Malczewski

    "My approach to life is community-building, and the Dean's office tries to approach its work this way," says Assistant Dean Joan Malczewski. In her job, which she's held for the last three years, Malczewski works closely with Dean Karen Zumwalt and Associate Dean Bill Baldwin. She takes care of all academic program issues and acts as a resource for policies and procedures. "Whatever the dean needs to do to get her work done, I'm here to help her do it," she says. "Basically, I serve the faculty and the academic program."
