A grant for $300,000 to support the Hechinger Institute on Education and the Media has been awarded to Teachers College by the Carnegie Corporation of New York.

President Levine has invited all members of the Teachers College community to serve as volunteers for the Columbia Community Service (CCS), Inc., appeal, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Volunteers will be invited to the Campaign Kickoff/50th Anniversary Celebration on Monday, November 11. The celebration will take place in Low Rotunda at Columbia and will run from 3 to 5 p.m.
