A recent A&E Biography special, "Lucky Luciano--Chairman of the Mob," which aired on August 13 and August 30, credited Teachers College with providing photographs of the schools attended by the mobster.

A recent A&E Biography special, "Lucky Luciano--Chairman of the Mob," which aired on August 13 and August 30, credited Teachers College with providing photographs of the schools attended by the mobster.

Photos of Public School 40 and the Brooklyn Truant School were provided to Towers Productions by our Special Collections department in the Milbank Library.

According to Towers Productions personnel, the show will likely be aired again in about three months, and it is also available on videotape.
