Novelist and professor of Spanish and Hispanic literature, Jose Luis Ponce de León recently read from his novels, La Seduccion de Hernán Cortés and the unedited, El Hombre de Los Gatos. Organizer of the Spanish Education Program Lectures and professor in the Department of Arts and Humanities, Gerardo Piña-Rosales, introduced Ponce de León by highlighting his literary merits and the importance of his novels in Hispanic literature in the United States.
