TC Alumni in the Nation's Capital

TC students and alumni recently learned about what it's like to be a top U.S. education official.
Gabriella Gomez, Assistant Secretary for Legislation and Congressional Affairs at the U.S. Department of Education, was the keynote speaker at TC's January 11, 2012 Washington, D.C. metro area alumni reception. Students in TC's Federal Policy Institute spending the week in Washington also participated.

Gomez shared her thoughts and some experiences with details about her career succession, job responsibilities, and the range of educational issues on which she has been working.
