Margaret Pilar White

B.A. in Sociology and Latin American Studies from Wesleyan University; M.S. in Bilingual Childhood (bilingual extension) from Pace University. Margaret began her career in education in Oakland, CA, teaching 8th grade for one summer. She continued to teach Middle School special education in San Francisco for a year before moving to New York, where she became a member of New York City Teaching Fellows. Currently, Margaret is a 4th grade dual language teacher at Henry Longfellow Elementary School PS 94 in Brooklyn, NY. She aspires to become a leader who practices what she preaches, empowering those who are involved in the functioning of a school, all the while doing so with a warm attitude and calm demeanor.
