Sandra Lloyd Wilborn
Sandra L. Wilborn received her B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Delta State University and her M. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Mississippi. In 2009, she became a National Board Certified Teacher. She has devoted her entire career to teaching K-8 students living in the Mississippi Delta. For the last three years, she has taught 3rd grade literacy at Quitman County Elementary in Lambert, MS, where she served as grade level chair and a member of the leadership team. She served as a faculty advisor for the 2010 and 2011 Teach for America Delta Summer Institute. Next year, Sandra will become lower elementary assistant principal serving teachers and students in grades Pre-K through first at Quitman County Elementary. Sandra is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Sandra will receive her Ed.M in Organizational Leadership from Columbia University in the summer of 2013.
