Melissa Meza

B.A. in Political Science and Public Policy, Trinity College. Melissa is a proud bilingual, special education teacher at I.S. 52 where she is also the lead math teacher. Outside of the classroom, she is involved in the School Leadership Team and is a graduate student at Mercy College for School Administration and Supervision. Melissa has traveled the world as part of a year-long international honors program that focused on globalization and its effects in third world countries. Through all her experiences - as a Varsity softball player, a Resident Advisor, and a justice and law intern in Washington D.C. - she found her calling as an educator.

Melissa is now a Learning Enhancement Director at the Bronx Prep Charter School in New York.
